Minister of Environment: The Prince Henry
The Ministry of Environment is the Government ministry responsible for the protection of the Environment of the Kingdom and the management of the National Parks. The Ministry was created by an Act of Parliament on 20 September 2013, and the first and incumbent minister, The Prince Henry, was appointed by the Prime Minister on 29 December 2013.
As a nation whose territory is made up primarily of forests and natural bodies of water, Florenia contains much wildlife. The primary responsibility of the ministry is protecting the natural environment of the Kingdom, and enforcing the law and policy regarding ensuring its security. Hunting land animals is illegal in the Kingdom, and fishing is highly regulated.
