Minister of Education: The Lady Deborah
Under Act 15 of Parliament, all citizens are required to receive an education from kindergarten to twelfth grade, or its international equivalent. Since the Kingdom has no private or public schools - or the capacity to sufficiently educate students - all citizens are required to fullfil this requirement at a foreign school. The Ministry of Education is tasked with overseeing this obligation.
The current Minister of Education is The Baroness of Plymouth, who herself was a school teacher for over thirty years. The Prime Minister thought it suitable to name her Minister on 2 January 2011 for this reason.
